The outdoor unit is only part of a properly designed HVAC system. This is what’s behind the scenes. 👀

As part of this 5-ton Daikin FIT DH6 installation, we installed a Daikin DHVE communicating heat-pump air handler in the attic along with new insulated ductwork designed to properly distribute airflow throughout the home.

The air handler is professionally suspended and secured to the structural framing using threaded rods and heavy-duty metal strut supports, keeping the equipment elevated, stable, and properly supported instead of simply resting on the attic structure.

The DHVE is part of the fully communicating Daikin FIT system, allowing the indoor air handler, inverter-driven outdoor heat pump, and Daikin One Touch smart thermostat to communicate and continuously adjust operation for better comfort, airflow, humidity control, and efficiency.

New ductwork is just as important. Properly sized and installed ducts help the system deliver the airflow it was designed for, reduce unnecessary static pressure and energy loss, and provide more consistent temperatures throughout the home.
