UPDATE! Due to overwelming support! The competition has been rescheduled for March 2nd!

Due to predicted weather, our season was abruptly cut shorFIRST Chesapeaken matches were completed and we were sent home. FIRST Chesapeake has chosen to not reschedule the event. Leaving not only our team but all FIRST Chesapeake qualifying teams without a regional championship that they worked hard to get to. These students have put in their time and hard work to get no opportunity to show what they achieved on the regional level they worked hard to get to. Also our senior members on all FIRST Chesapeake regional qualifying teams were left without what most believe to be their last event, and all students were left without the chance to compete to go represent FIRST Chesapeake on the world stage. Please rally together with us and other FIRST Chesapeake teams to have our regional competition rescheduled. Please sign the Petition linked below. Also if you have time emailing FIRST and FIRST Chesapeake directly to encourage them to reschedule our Regional Championship will help drastically to support our cause and give our kids the Regional Championship that they have earned!

Urgent request to reschedule the Chesapeake Championship for FTC

The local school system in Silver Spring decided to shut down all their buildings today due to predicted inclement weather. Therefore, the Chesapeake Regional Robotics Championship was stopped early and before a single match was held. With no game played and no chance to show what we could do, our season came to an unfortunate end. Nevertheless, the season was one of our best. Fun and rewarding. Our thanks to everyone for their love and support this year!
