I am excited to serve as a juror for the Single-Family Housing Division of the Department of Energy's 2024 Solar Decathlon in Golden, Colorado in April. This year there will be 40 teams competing from 10 states plus the District of Columbia and 10 other countries in 4 different divisions! They represent some of the brightest, next generation innovators in electrification, decarbonization and green building design!

IDeAs Principal, David Kaneda will be one of the judges for the inaugural Orange County Sustainability Decathlon at the Orange County Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA next week. The teams are building examples of high performance homes demonstrating latest sustainable technologies and innovation and include students from as close by as UC Irvine and Cal Poly Pomona and as far away as Brigham Young University and Zhejiang Normal University.
