Motch & Eichele and Mazak were proud to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Cleveland Gear and Hellan Fluid Systems’ brand-new facility expansion in Cleveland, Ohio! This new manufacturing space features their two new Mazak machines: an Integrex E1250 V/8 with a Palletech system and a Mazak HCN.

Programs like Project Lead The Way are helping shape the future of manufacturing, engineering, and skilled trades right here in Ohio. ⚙️📚

Last week, president of The HEH Group, Willie Eichele had the opportunity to attend the Project Lead The Way event at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia, Ohio thanks to an invitation from Allied Machine & Engineering President, Steve Stokey.

Project Lead The Way is giving students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in engineering design, FANUC robotics, PLC programming, problem solving, teamwork, and more. They also have opportunities to earn certifications including OSHA 10, FANUC handling tool operation and programming, and more.

The turnout was incredible with more than 450 students participating and over 1,500 people attending the event. It was exciting to see so much enthusiasm surrounding manufacturing and technical careers.

At Motch & Eichele, we believe investing in STEM and technical education is critical to the future success of our industry. Events like this show that the next generation of manufacturing professionals is already hard at work building bright futures.

Yesterday we hosted our Measure Smarter Lunch N Learn featuring the Mitutoyo QM Fit! ⚙️📏

This event was focused on shops running small parts and looking for ways to reduce inspection time or eliminate caliper measuring altogether. We had a great group of shops attend the event, ask thoughtful questions, bring in their parts, and get hands on with the technology.

The QM Fit continues to impress shops looking for a faster, easier, and more repeatable way to inspect parts while also improving reporting and data collection.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out and see the QM Fit in action. We appreciate the support and look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
