Another great day for Omniscientists last week. We celebrated the birthday of a very special 9 year old child. We had squishy circuits to demonstrate play doughs are conductive. Kids learned about LEDs and polarity in LEDs. We had loads of fun launching water rockets. There were giggles, cries of joy and they were all music to my ears.

Slime is the rage these days. There is not a single event we have organized so far that is without slime. It is mind boggling to me that something so simple could create so much craze.So I asked the kids in a recent party " Why do you like slime?". The response was unanimous. "What's not to like? It is satisfying." Hmm... who would have thought? BTW, did you know there are many patents on making slime? Here is one if you are interested in checking out :)

Yesterday we organized Wendy Shada's 11th birthday party. We launched water rockets, flame tested metallic salts, made gummy worms, played with dry ice and of course there was slime. we made color changing slime with thermochromic dye. It was a hoot. Thank you Rachel Shada for the opportunity and thank you Jessica for the recommendations.

Last week we celebrated Alex Doan's 8th birthday party. There were smiles galore with these highly enthusiastic kids. It warms my heart to know that the guests were excited about our organization and the experiments. Here is a glimpse of the party. Here is a short movie of our launch party.We had a bunch of high energy curious little scientists participate in our party. Needless to say we had fun and 2.5 hours went by in a jiffy. These young kids fill me with hope and want me to work harder towards my goal of making science accessible to all.A big shout out to Smita Singh for the pictures!!!

Yesterday our little company Omniscientists, LLC had a great day. We had over 18 kids and their parents participate in our inaugural party. Kids enjoyed the science demonstrations. They even got to do some activities on their own. We all noshed on some science inspired snacks. More importantly, we got to share our vision of our science enrichment program with the kids and their parents. Many of them expressed interest in our science summer camp for 2019. We are off to a great start. Thank you everyone for coming.
