The EPA’s contingency list (NCP) for Hydrocarbon clean up via bioremediation consists of 40 products, either bacterial or enzyme packages. If microbiologist know fungi are Nature’s most powerful decomposers of hydrocarbons why aren’t there any fungal products listed ?
