We want to wish the #1 YHS Softball team a HUGE Good Luck in their Regional matchup, Tuesday, June 2nd at 6pm against #2 Logansport! Contest takes place at Yorktown Sports Park. This will be a great battle and worth the watch. They are asking Fans to come out and support, AND wear GREEN!

Luminary Festival Weather Update

Due to inclement weather, cold temperatures, and high winds, several Santa’s Village activities are being relocated from the Civic Green into Yorktown Middle School for the safety and comfort of our guests and vendors.

Santa’s not the only one lighting up the night!
Yorktown’s first Lighted Tractor & Golf Cart Parade will roll through Downtown on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 6:30p as part of the Yorktown Luminary Festival.

We’re proud to bring this festive addition in partnership with the White River Heritage Antique Association—celebrating hometown creativity, Christmas lights, and community pride!

Parade Details
• Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025
• Time: 6:30p (following the Tree-Lighting Ceremony)
• Location: Downtown Yorktown

Important Notes for Participants
• This is a lighted parade—all tractors, golf carts, and vehicles must be decorated with Christmas lights.
• Open to tractors, golf carts, cars, trucks, and fire trucks (no semis or trailers).
• No candy may be thrown during the parade for safety reasons.
• Please do not dress as Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, or Buddy the Elf, as they will be featured guests in the festival.

Touch a Tractor Event
Join us early from 4:00–6:00p along Canal Street for Touch a Tractor! Meet the drivers, take photos, and enjoy treats—participants may hand out candy during this event only.

After the Tree-Lighting Ceremony at 6:00p, the parade will step off from Canal Street and travel west, turning left on Plum, then left onto Smith Street / SR 32, ending at Broadway.

Light up your tractor, golf cart, or truck and help make this a glowing new Yorktown holiday tradition!
