Fertility Preservation Legislation Passed Texas House and Senate

Susan G. Komen’s Center for Public Policy worked with the Texans Protecting Parenthood After Cancer Coalition to support HB 1649, which requires coverage of fertility preservation services for cancer patients whose fertility may be directly or indirectly impaired due to a cancer diagnosis. We are pleased to share that HB 1649 passed the Texas House and Senate and is awaiting the governor’s signature!
