1,100+ people came to last year's Gas Machinery Conference for the technical program.

They were compression and reliability engineers, plus their counterparts at OEMs and technology providers. These are the people who spec the machinery and then live with how it runs.

Roughly 100 companies had booths on the floor.

The hall usually fills up before October. Reserving now gives your team time to plan the booth, sort out staffing and line up the customer meetings you want in Indianapolis.

Each booth includes a full conference registration. Someone from your team can sit in on sessions on vibration and pulsation, reliability, emissions and compression technology, and come back to the booth with a read on what operators are prioritizing.

The problem sitting on your desk right now has probably been solved somewhere else in this industry. Finding the person who solved it is what makes a technical program like the Gas Machinery Conference worth the trip.

A vibration signature nobody can explain has a three-hour Short Course and a presenter who has diagnosed that pattern before. An emissions rule colliding with your uptime targets has an entire track following it into the machinery.

Engineers from SwRI, Ariel, Solar Turbines, Siemens, HOERBIGER, TC Energy, Caterpillar, INNIO Waukesha and 40-plus others are presenting across six tracks and 80-plus sessions this year.

Early bird pricing closes tomorrow, August 5.

The case for a technical conference usually gets made to someone who is not attending. The answer has to be more specific than a date and a city.

The 2026 Gas Machinery Conference agenda is posted, and it offers more than 80 sessions across six tracks:
→ Energy Transition
→ Reliability & Analytics
→ Core Compression Technology
→ Emissions & Regulatory Compliance
→ Critical Systems Integrity
→ Foundational Research & Safety

Sessions run at four depths, from three-hour Short Courses on subjects like vibration analysis to eight-minute Industry Innovation Spotlights, with research and papers from SwRI, Ariel, Solar Turbines, Siemens, HOERBIGER, TC Energy, Caterpillar, INNIO Waukesha and 40-plus others.

Early bird pricing closes in 6 days on August 5.

Most engine analysts have a data file somewhere they never fully closed out due to a:

→ Pressure trace that never quite made sense.
→ Vibration signature that raised more questions than answers.
→ Balance that came in acceptable without ever explaining itself.

Ready to finally set aside time for those files? Next week’s EAR Workshop offers two open discussion sessions when you bring your toughest engine data and work through it with instructors and other analysts running similar equipment.

Seats are limited to keep the workshop hands-on, so if there’s an engine problem you’ve been meaning to revisit, these are the people who will welcome it.

You know the moment when equipment starts showing signs of wear, your team scrambles to diagnose what's wrong, and by the time you've figured it out, downtime has already cost you.

The difference between catching a compressor problem weeks early and discovering it during a shutdown comes down to one thing: diagnostic technique. Many teams don't have it because it's hard to learn without hands-on equipment and experts who know what to look for.

In a few weeks, GMRC's annual Engine Analyzer & Reliability Workshop will be in Fort Lauderdale. Over three days, you'll work with live compressor models and master the specific techniques that separate early detection from emergency response.

You'll learn rod packing diagnostics, alignment analysis and predictive maintenance methods alongside engineers, technicians and mechanics from companies across the country who are solving the same equipment challenges you face.

You'll earn 20 professional development hours and gain skills you can apply immediately when you return.

Registration closes soon, and seats are limited.

When you're traveling to Indianapolis for four days to learn from peers, you want every hour to count.

Staying at the JW Marriott, the host hotel for GMC, makes the most of your time.

You can grab a coffee for the walk back with someone you met in a morning session and continue the conversation in the lounge.

That proximity removes friction and makes spontaneous peer connections possible.

The room block at the JW Marriott is open for GMC 2026. Book your room at the group rate before September 11.

How do you stay compliant while evaluating emerging technology?

At GMC 2026, the Emissions & Regulatory Compliance track shows you how other operators are meeting new EPA requirements without derailing their operations.

Then the Energy Transition & Decarbonization track explores hydrogen blending, carbon capture, and RNG handling, along with the challenges and opportunities these emerging technologies present.

When you explore both tracks together, you move from solving these questions alone to having a clear path forward.

Most teams operate in reactive mode because they lack the advanced diagnostic techniques that catch failure patterns early—when you still have options for scheduled maintenance instead of emergency repairs.

GMRC's Engine Analyzer & Reliability Workshop (August 4-6, Fort Lauderdale) teaches you those techniques.

Over three days, you'll work with live equipment, learn rod packing replacement methods that improve speed and efficiency and master alignment diagnostics that extend compressor life.

You'll spend time with industry experts and peers from across the country. The focus is practical: moving your team from guessing at problems to diagnosing them accurately.

Register now and walk away with methods that apply to your equipment the moment you return: https://ow.ly/6Mzv50Z4Wke

Compressor downtime affects pipeline integrity, delays operations and puts pressure on the entire team to diagnose and fix problems fast.

Most engineers and technicians have experience. What they often lack is the advanced diagnostic techniques that help you catch failure patterns before they become shutdowns.

At GMRC's annual Engine Analyzer & Reliability workshop this summer, you'll work with live compressor models, learn rod packing replacement techniques that save time and master alignment diagnostics that extend equipment life.

The workshop covers predictive maintenance methods that help you move from reactive scrambling to proactive planning. Industry experts and peers from companies across the country will walk through the specific techniques that make the difference.

You'll leave with the diagnostic skills that move your team from guessing to diagnosing.
