Apiary Residences & Hotel brings 193 luxury residences and a 175-key extended-stay hotel together in a 20-story, transit-oriented Denver destination, designed for elevated hospitality, wellness, connection, and long-term resilience.

Children’s Health Fairview Clinic and Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine expands access to specialized pediatric and outpatient care through a thoughtfully designed clinic that supports multispecialty care, orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and patient comfort.

This recognition celebrates the collaborative design-build process behind each project and the owners, consultants, trade partners, and Beck team members who brought meaningful spaces to life for the people who use them every day.

We’re pleased to announce the promotions of Jacqueline Dudley, AIA, Architecture Practice Leader, and Andy Kennedy, AIA, Design Director, to Principal in Beck’s Austin office. Their leadership reflects the momentum of our growing Austin architecture practice and the impact of a team that brings together deep local relationships, thoughtful design, and the resources of an integrated national firm.

Jacqueline leads people, client relationships, and business growth, helping connect client needs with the right teams and resources.

Andy guides the studio’s creative direction, mentoring architects and designers while helping transform ideas from early concepts into meaningful places.

Parking garages are designed for openness, natural ventilation, visibility, circulation, and connection to the places they serve. But for owners in healthcare and higher education, that openness can also present difficult safety challenges.

Using data from the International Parking & Mobility Institute, our latest Beck Think explores how parking garage design can incorporate suicide-prevention strategies while preserving functionality and the user's experience. From perimeter screening and barriers to lighting, visibility, and layered safety measures, the right approach is never one-size-fits-all.

Projects at Texas Christian University, Parkland Health, and JPS Health Network demonstrate how these strategies can be thoughtfully integrated into the architecture, not simply added as security measures after the fact.

For us, designing safer environments means taking on the tough realities our clients face while finding solutions that feel considered, approachable, and purposeful.

Beck joined TCU – Texas Christian University, American Campus Communities, RAMSA Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and our project partners to celebrate the topping out of four new residential communities and a five-story parking garage, an important milestone in shaping TCU’s evolving campus experience.

Together, these projects will add nearly 2,500 student beds across a range of residence types, while the parking garage will include a new TCU Police Station and Emergency Operations Center.

We’re honored to partner with TCU in creating spaces that will support student connection, belonging, and growth for generations of Horned Frogs to come.

Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano has topped out — a major milestone for this 217-room boutique hotel in Plano’s Legacy West District.

The hotel will bring Japanese hospitality and elevated guest experiences to North Texas, with approximately 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, including a 5,000-square-foot contemporary ballroom.

As Construction Manager, Beck partnered with Kintetsu Enterprises Company of America, Cu***ng Group, Gensler, Looney & Associates, the City of Plano, Texas Government, and our trade partners to bring this distinctive destination to life.

Opening in Fall 2027, Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano will be the first Miyako Hotels & Resorts property in Texas and the third in the United States.

Yesterday, we were honored to join the University of Georgia for the dedication ceremony of its new First-Year Residence Hall, Building 2266.

Beck led the design of this residence hall in partnership with Turner Construction, creating a welcoming, modern living environment that will enhance the first-year experience for generations of Bulldogs.

We are incredibly proud to deliver another beautiful project on UGA's campus and grateful to the University of Georgia for the opportunity to contribute to its continued growth.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this project to life—we're excited to see students call Building 2266 home!
