Hydra Shield Hydra-Shield Manufacturing Inc. has been in operation since 1979, serving municipal water and fire departments.

Hydra-Shield is a family owned operation which was started in 1979 and sold to General Henry Stehling in 1986, whose hard work and determination made Hydra-Shield a brand leader in the water security industry. In 2001 ownership of the company was transferred to his three children, Fred Stehling, Susan Von Stehling and Patricia McLean. In 2002 Fred Stehling was appointed Chairman of the board; CEO

and President of Hydra-Shield. Hydra-Shield expanded its operation in 2008 and now has locations in Dallas, Corsicana, and Houston Texas and has expanded sales internationally. Hydra-Shield continues to produce quality, American Made products widely used by many cities, military bases and fire departments across the country. In 2015 Hydra-Shield re-branded its fire products to Fyrelane USA and provides high quality fire products and fittings for the fire industry under Fyrelane USA since 2015. Our product line has expanded over the years as we move forward into the future to continue a competitive advantage and provide solutions for the marketplace.
