Dutch Treat Wildcatters A loose collection of robber barons and oil kings based in Dallas....... Where and when do we meet? We gather around 11:30 a.m. for cocktails and catching up.

Nearly twenty years ago, the late Joe Warren of Four C Oil & Gas and some of his friends formed the Dutch Treat Wildcatters. Administered since 2007 by Five States Energy Company, we meet monthly for good food and drink and a program that we hope will inform and entertain our members. Our membership is divided between engineers, geoscientists, land personnel,business professionals and students, al

l with an interest in the petroleum industry orenergy‐related topics. We feature programs on oilfield equipment, high‐interest exploration plays like the Barnett and the Wolfberry, the A&D market, pricing and the commodities markets, oilfield history, the hotly‐debated global climate question, alternative energy sources, and state and national politics, among others. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month, with December hosting our annual Egg Nog Riot. Our home is the Ozona Grill & Bar, located on Greenville Avenue at Dyer, between Lovers Lane and Mockingbird. Lunch begins around noon, with the speaker usually starting around 12:30 and going to about 1:00 p.m. Dress is always casual.
