70% of students from disadvantaged backgrounds lack access to the STEM exposure, mentorship, and resources that open doors to real careers.

We’re working to change that. Since 2012, Illuminate STEM has served more than 2,000 students each year in Dallas-Fort Worth and Detroit through hands-on learning, robotics competitions, STEM Innovation Labs, and workforce development programs that build confidence, skills, and real opportunity.

When access grows, curiosity turns into real skills. 80% of our participants report increased interest in STEM careers, and 90% reach benchmarks in programming a robot. If you believe every student deserves a seat at the innovation table, share this post and help us spread the word.

The Disruptively Wired Innovation Cohort Program is designed for students ages 12–18 who are ready to think creatively, build boldly, and turn ideas into real-world innovation.

Over 10 weeks, participants will gain hands-on experience in research, design, prototyping, patent development, leadership, and entrepreneurship while connecting with other future innovators.
