Looking out for each other is part of the work.

Our crews across Texas paused for fall prevention stand-downs the first week of May and made room to talk about mental health. As we enter June and Safety Month, physical safety and mental health might be different topics, but they revolve around the same goal: protect life and well-being.

Let's keep working safely and showing up for one another. That's how we get stronger together.

The secret isn't sauce, it's process.

Great BBQ and great construction have more in common than people think. Both reward discipline. Both punish shortcuts. And both come down to a process you trust before the work even starts.

On every RO project, we run a 3-Phase Inspection Process as part of our Quality Control Plan:

Phase 1 — The plan. Align trade partners, review specs, set the standard before work begins.
Phase 2 — The first check. Inspect the first completed section as a team. Catch drift before it multiplies.
Phase 3 — Stay on it. Follow-up inspections through the life of the build, protecting the standard we set on day one.

That discipline holds on every build. Especially on MEP-complex or mission critical work, where there's no margin for error.

In 1997, Rogers-O'Brien debuted on Engineering News-Record national Top 400 Contractors list at #400.

30 years later, we're honored to land at #74 on ENR's 2026 Top 400, up 43 spots from last year.

A national ranking for a firm that builds only in Texas means something to us, but it’s not about the number. It's about the people behind it: the superintendents, project managers, estimators, craft leaders, corporate teams, project partners, and clients who show up every day and build it together.

We've always believed we are Stronger Together. This is just one more reminder that it's true.

Reaching dry-in with 400-plus trade partners on site takes everyone holding the same line on quality, pace, and safety.

At two stories and 60 MW, DFW11 has had hundreds of crews moving in sequence from the start. Hitting dry-in on a build this complex is a milestone the team earned.

A couple of weeks later, the full site joined the industry in pausing for Construction Safety Week. The message on site puts it plainly: nothing we do is worth getting hurt.

Well done to every crew on DFW11, let's carry the standard all the way to the finish!

Congrats to our second FLC cohort, with more than 120 grads celebrated across all five regions!

The Stagen Leadership Academy Foundational Leaders Course (FLC) is a 13-week leadership program that focuses on how we lead ourselves before we lead others. It's how we strengthen the communication and leadership that will carry RO forward.

With cohort three set to begin soon, more than 400 RO employees will have completed the program by the end of 2026.

At the opening celebration of the expanded emergency department at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital, Baptist Health System leadership recognized the RO project team for their work on the two-phase renovation.

The scope added a 15,000-square-foot Acute Rehabilitation Unit on Level 3 and doubled the emergency department to 11,000 square feet, along with a new ER drive-up and ambulance loading area. All of it built inside an active hospital, supporting St. Luke's role as a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Now that's something to go wild about. 🦒

In partnership with architect GFF RO completed the new 4.5-level, 169,000-square-foot precast garage at the Dallas Zoo adding 580 parking spaces. It also opens a direct path to the Savannah Entrance, a smoother pedestrian connection to the DART station, and a new entry plaza framed by fresh landscape and hardscape. Wrapping the garage is a perforated metal facade featuring the Zoo's signature giraffe print.

Just in time for summer, your trip to the largest zoo in Texas just got easier!
