Walker County Sheriff's Office Steve Wilson confirmed that GSP aviation was assisting deputies this morning in searching for a domestic violence suspect in Villanow in the Highway 136 and Lower Mill Creek Road area. The sheriff said a John Robert Wells, 49, of 14245 East Hwy 136 shot his wife in the back early Thursday morning after an argument turned extremely violent. Walker County Sheriff's office is still searching for the fugitive in the Villanow community. He is considered armed and very dangerous. If you see him, call 911.
