We can’t thank the Nunda Historical Society enough for all of the work over the years! We couldn’t have done it without our talented crew!

In yesterday's post we inadvertently left out this very important image taken during the November 2nd dedication of our new addition. During the program following the ribbon cutting the NHS Board presented a special history gift to our contractor, Vinnie Hark of Hark Homes.

Vinnie and the Hark Homes' crew have been with ever since Tom and Marjorie Stamp donated the building to us in 1999. They did the initial renovation of the former garage and RV dealership, then later converted the old garage area to the new Museum area (which included a whole new roof,) built our pavilion, renovated the annex area and also helped us with many minor repairs and projects over the past twenty five years.

The new addition would not have been possible without them. Vinnie, his daughter Ashley, son Phil and the Hark Homes crew were critical to every stage of the project from its initial design to its final completion! What a great job they did!

As a small token of our appreciation we presented Hark Homes a framed reproduction of the Van Nostrand Garage a century or so ago. The garage, now the headquarters of the construction company, remains an important part of the Dalton Community.

Accepting the gift for Hark Homes was Office Manager Ashley Hark Flint and Family.
