We were very thankful to be asked to install this Mitsubishi heat pump mini split for another union contractor. One of my mentors in the boiler world. Throughout the day today I thought a lot about where I am in life and the people I’ve met along the way. Never would guess I would have been crawling around in insulation in our local boiler legends Jerry Wills office barn today to install some comfort heating and cooling for their business 😆

Even better today (wish I would have got a picture) another local legend (my dad) came out to give me a hand with the install which was pretty badass. Gotta get this guy on the payroll!

We installed a new chemical bypass filter and feeder on this boiler loop✅

We added new pipe, fittings and valve to ensure a leak free system and coordinated with the chemical company to make a site visit to add the boiler chemicals to this system to help with scale over the course of running in the heating seasons. All the pipe, valves and associated components take a beating to keep our homes and buildings warm and the chemical companies that pay attention to this help with the water chemistry to maintain a less acidic system to help prevent against corrosion 💪

Weak flame signal seen on this system

A few possible causes:

1. Bad amplifier card on the Honeywell 7800 controller
2. Failing uv scanner
3. General flame quality issues
4. Gas pressure issues
5. Excess air on the flame (would be noted on combustion analysis)

In my experience I’ve had a lot of success with replacing either #1 or #2, my boiler guy purists may weigh in here for some additional experience too!

Great time to do it now when it’s not entirely needed, some commercial buildings run their heating system in the summer to help with dehumidification and to lower the stress on the cooling equipment but can maintain a comfortable building in the summer while off. First Rheem installation! 😮‍💨😎😏

We appreciated the opportunity to upgrade your new addition at your home just in time for the summer! ☀️

We removed existing indoor and outdoor units and upgraded the old straight AC to a heat pump to provide a dual fuel setup at this home which now utilizes a mix of cast iron radiant heat from a boiler and now can use the heat pump in the shoulder months for heat and central AC in the summer. We added additional ductwork to the addition spaces and upgraded electrical to provide proper wiring to the new unit. 😎

Big thanks to a few of our other contractor friends lending a hand with this one too! Little Juniata Mechanical LLC and DP mechanical came through to give us that high quality install work to wrap this one up which means a lot especially this time of year being everyone’s busy season!🤙

lol rough day in an attic with this heat. Anyone else workin today stay hydrated. It’s not gonna cool down consistently until like September 🤣

This was fun!

Underground plumbing for a pool house. I loved doing this project, was able to help a friend and also help the business. This was about a 130’ run of sewer line for future bathroom tie in. We maintained our pitch the whole way and tied into an existing cleanout and left another for any future service needs.

Do you have some cool backyard projects in mind for this summer? Outdoor kitchen? Pool house? Outdoor shower? We can handle that

One of our General Contractor partners has awarded us the opportunity to replace and update their HVAC system in their personal home. We take that seriously 😎💪.
