What started as bare dirt and temporary supports is now a backyard built for slow evenings at home. The covered patio has a warm wood ceiling and exposed beams, and it’s anchored by a stacked stone fireplace, a TV wall, and a ceiling fan to keep the lounge comfortable all year. Just beyond it, a cedar pergola shades the dining area and connects the whole space to the gardens around it.

"I had a very specific design, and it was very important to me to have that vision carried out." 💬

For Sandra and Paul, the Fortayon Project was about building a backyard that works the way they live. Paul cooks for the family, so the outdoor kitchen had to have everything right there, with no running back and forth inside.

What stood out to them was Scott's approach from the start. He came out multiple times, even before they had chosen a contractor, to make sure he understood exactly what they wanted. From footings to fireside 🔥

The Danville Project started with excavation, rebar, and raw framing. What came out of it is a full backyard retreat built for gathering.

A covered pavilion with a vaulted wood ceiling and ceiling fans anchors the space, with a stacked stone fireplace and TV setting up the lounge area. Just steps away, a stone-clad outdoor kitchen with a built-in fridge keeps everything within reach, and a pergola adds shaded space at the edge of the yard. There's room to dine, lounge, and entertain, all surrounded by lush landscaping.
