Please plan to arrive in athletic shorts, shoulder pads, and helmets.

🔴 BCYF HEAT UPDATE — CURRENTLY IN RED ZONE

We are currently in the RED ZONE for heat conditions. Under Red Zone guidelines:

⏱️ Practice is limited to ONE HOUR
🚫 No helmets
🚫 No shoulder pads
🚫 No padded football pants

Players should come dressed in lightweight athletic clothing and bring plenty of water.

🌡️ We will continue monitoring the heat conditions and will update families as soon as we can if the zone changes.

For reference, if conditions improve and we move into the ORANGE ZONE:

🟠 Practice may remain at the previously scheduled length
🟠 Helmets and shoulder pads are permitted
🟠 No padded football pants

WE ASK THAT YOU BRING HELMETS AND SHOULDER PADS WITH YOU IN CASE WE ARE ABLE TO PRACTICE IN THEM. Please be flexible and prepared for our practice duration to change.

BCYF, it was a GREAT day to be a Rebel! 🖤💛

From the start of this morning’s pancake breakfast to the final plays on the field, our BCYF families and community showed up!

💛 You volunteered, shared a meal with us, and helped us provide Game Day breakfast for our Boyle County High School football team, as well as several first responders and healthcare workers throughout our community.

🖤 You had your football players and cheerleaders on time, dressed, and ready to go—and then families, friends, and supporters filled the stands to cheer them on and celebrate all the hard work they’ve put into every practice.

💛 Our first round of game-day volunteers stepped up to help everything run smoothly, from keeping the game moving on the field to cheerfully serving concessions on a very hot day.

What a way to start the season.

Flag football, we can’t wait to get your season started next weekend, too!

Not sure who was hyping who up more! Our season opens tomorrow, and BCHS opens at home in the Rebel Bowl tomorrow night.

🏈 HONORING BCYF LEGEND AND COACH TODD TILLER 🏈

Some people are part of a football program. Others help build the program from the ground up. Todd Tiller is one of those people.

Coach Tiller was one of the founders of Boyle County Youth Football and dedicated more than 20 years to leading and growing the league. During his time on the board, serving many years as president, countless young athletes came through the program — including multiple players who went on to play college football.

Coach Tiller has always believed that success starts with the fundamentals: discipline, hard work, toughness, and doing things the right way. Those lessons went far beyond the football field and became part of the foundation of the program.

His impact is also deeply personal. All of Coach and Mrs. Katie Collins Tiller’s sons came through Boyle County Youth Football, and each went on to win a state championship with Boyle County Rebels Football. They have watched firsthand what can happen when young athletes are taught to work hard, compete, and believe in themselves from an early age.

Coach Tiller has had a tremendous impact on various levels of Boyle County football, serving as a huge sponsor and supporter of Boyle teams and continually giving back to the athletes and programs he cares so much about.

And if you played for Coach Tiller, there’s a good chance you remember one phrase above all others: “HIT A POLE!”

More than 20 years of service. Hundreds of players. Countless practices, games, fundraisers, and sacrifices.

Coach Tiller’s fingerprints are all over Boyle County Youth Football, and his impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

Thank you, Coach, for helping build this program, believing in our kids, and giving so much of yourself to Boyle County football.

Your legacy is bigger than wins and championships. It’s the young men and women you helped shape along the way.

Once a Rebel, always a Rebel. 🖤💛

🏈 BCYF REMINDERS & WEEKEND UPDATES!

🖤 BCYF STORE PICKUP — THURSDAY
BCYF Store orders placed before August 18 will be available for pickup Thursday night after practice at the tackle practice field.

For our flag families, you are welcome to come to the tackle field after practice for pickup, or we will schedule a date next week to bring orders to flag practice for pickup. Again, this pickup is for orders placed BEFORE AUGUST 18.

💛 PANCAKE BREAKFAST — SATURDAY, AUGUST 29
📍 The Showroom
⏰ 7:00–9:00 AM

Everyone must have a ticket to get a breakfast, and tickets are not available at the door.

Please note: This time is different from the time listed on printed tickets. We will be finishing promptly at 9:00 AM so our BCYF families have plenty of time to get to Saturday’s games!

🏈 FIRST TACKLE GAMES — THIS SATURDAY!
It’s finally game time! 🎉 Our first tackle games of the season are THIS SATURDAY, with Boyle Gray taking on Boyle Black!

🎟️ No entrance fee will be charged for these games since both teams are BCYF teams.

🥤 Limited concessions will be available.

Tackle parents, more information will be put out regarding Saturday’s game on SportsYou later this week.

⭐ REBEL BOWL — SATURDAY NIGHT!
Still up for more football? Our BCHS Rebels will be playing in the Rebel Bowl at Rebels Stadium Saturday night at 8PM! BCYF families are invited to come out and support the Rebels and enjoy a night of Boyle County football. 🖤💛

Please note: Attendance at the Rebel Bowl is completely optional and is not a BCYF requirement or event. Regular Rebel Bowl admission applies to everyone, including BCYF players.

We are incredibly grateful to our BCYF families, friends, and community for making this year’s Pancake Breakfast fundraiser such a success. Together, you helped raise an amazing $12,125 for Boyle County Youth Football & Cheer! 🖤💛 ALL of these funds will be used in ways that directly support our student athletes and a safe, strong, accessible league.

Your support helps fund:

🏈 Safe, up-to-date equipment — including helmets, shoulder pads, Guardian Caps, mouthguards, and flag football soft shell caps — as well as replacement and professional reconditioning of equipment to ensure it remains as safe as possible
