The 8th Annual Darling Fibers-American Heart Association "Strokes for Stroke" Golf Tournament is now in the books, and what a fantastic day it was! The weather was perfect, with the sun shining brightly on all the golfers at Traces Golf Course.
As always, we were thrilled to have an outstanding group of participants, sponsors, and dedicated staff. On behalf of Darling Fibers and the American Heart Association, we extend our heartfelt thanks to you and your team for your continued support. Your enthusiasm and generosity made this year’s "Strokes for Stroke" Golf Tournament a tremendous success.
We are excited to share that we raised over $6,000 to benefit the American Heart Association!
Thank you once again for your incredible support, and we’re already looking forward to the next tournament. We hope to see you there!

The Darling Fibers Team Has Heart!!❤️
On Saturday, October 26th, the Darling Fibers family came together with friends, loved ones, and our community to participate in the 2024 P*e Dee Heart Walk. United by a common cause, our team walked with pride and purpose, showing our committment to heart health and supporting those affected by heart disease and strokle.
It was a meaningful day filled with laughter, connection, and shared goals, and we couldn't be prouder to contribute to such an important mission. Thank you to EVERYONE who joined us and made this day unforgettable -together, the Darling Fibers Team truly has heart! ❤️

Big Tech companies are known to influence so many areas of our lives, but their big impact on the writing of international trade agreements isn’t as understood.

Lori Wallach, director of the Rethink Trade program at the American Economic Liberties Project, has devoted her career to uncovering how trade agreements work and who the influential players are. She has sounded the alarm over the quiet push by Big Tech companies to influence global trade agreements. Wallach joins host Deepa Fernandes for more.

A law originally designed to allow people to bring home small items from travels has been exploited to allow companies such as Temu and Shein to bring in millions of packages a day from abroad.

We are proud and excited to share that a member of the Darling family, James Reaves, son of our controller, Jerry Reaves, is a recipient of a 2024 Congressional Award Gold Medal. James was in Washington DC last week to receive his award and was able to meet Senator Lindsey Graham, Senator Tim Scott, and Representative Russell Fry.

The Congressional Award Gold Medal is the U.S. Congress’ highest honor for youth. It recognizes young people who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to personal development, community service, and physical fitness. To earn this prestigious award, participants must complete the following requirements: Minimum of 400 hours of community service, engage in 200 hours of activities that enhance personal growth and skills, dedicate 200 hours to physical fitness and well-being, and undertake a five-day, four-night expedition or exploration.

James is a 2024 graduate of West Florence High School and will attend Clemson University in the Fall. Join us in congratulating James on this outstanding accomplishment!

Thank you for making our Golf Tournament successful!

The 7th Annual Darling Fibers-American Heart Association “Strokes for Stroke” Golf Tournament is now in the books, and what a fantastic day it was! The weather was perfect, with the sun shining brightly on all the golfers at Traces Golf Course.

As always, we had an outstanding group of participants, sponsors, and staff. On behalf of Darling Fibers and the American Heart Association, we extend our heartfelt thanks to you and your team for your CONTINUED support in making this year’s “Strokes for Stroke” Golf Tournament a tremendous success. We are thrilled to share that we raised over $4,700 to benefit the American Heart Association.

Darling Fibers Industries on behalf of the American Heart Association will be sponsoring the “Strokes Fore Stroke” Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at The Traces Golf Course, Florence.. I attached our flyer and would like to see if you’d like to sponsor a hole, provide swag, provide prizes/donations, or sign up with a team.

TEAM: Team of 4
HOLE SPONSOR: 18 HOLES, you can sponsor a hole, and your name will be out there.
HOSPITALITY HOLE TENT: You will put your tent out at a hole, and you can serve food, and provide a service (some are doing blood pressure, cooking a meal, have drinks out there, etc.)
DONATE PRIZES – Donations for the Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Winners: Here are some items that have been donated, Gift Cards ($75 1st, $50 2nd, $25 3rd), Golf Balls, chairs, coolers, gift baskets, etc.
