Finally an update. The completed bathroom. No longer a mess. Lots of tile later and a custom built corner vanity to fit the tiny sink. There's electric radiant heat in the floor as well. The homeowner wanted to complete the painting, so don't mind the spackle and primer.

The last photo tells us a little bit about the original nature of this counter. It was originally a shoe makers counter and the nails you see, which I left in for the historical value, were used to measure leather.
All of these old pieces that survive, have stories which need to be preserved. I try and do that.

Here is an absolutely wonderful, wonky project we did in the summer.
The client had a camper shower they needed converted to a closet. It had some odd angles to it and getting it in was interesting. It stayed put with a tension fit, so screws in the wall wouldn't be required.

Smallish bathroom was dated, so it was time for an upgrade. They couldn't find a vanity that they wanted, so I built one to their specs that also fit into the space available. They requested that the vanity be moved to in front of the window, but they also wanted a mirror. So there's a mini board door track with a mirror that slides away when not being used. Best of both worlds.

And the roof finished. Ag metal and some beautiful weather! &cabinetry
