Seaberg Industries and Crawford Company employees and their families enjoyed the Quad City Steamwheelers game. Seaberg's Josh Galindo and his son had the opportunity to do the coin toss. And it was also Youth Jersey Night! The first 1,000 kids through the doors received a Steamwheelers jersey. Thank you to the Steamwheelers for a great evening of arena football!

Seaberg Industries and Crawford Company congratulate Bruce Atkinson on his retirement! Employees and members of his family gathered last Friday to celebrate his career and retirement from Seaberg Industries. During his 39 years with the company, Bruce’s work focused on IT systems and programming.

Bruce started with Seaberg Industries in 1987. He was originally hired on a temporary, part time basis to resolve software issues. In addition to his IT duties, Bruce did a variety of administrative work. This variety of work was one of the reasons he remained at Seaberg for so many years.

Bruce was also a programmer on the Whitney Plasma cut and punch when data input was punch-tape readers. Bruce became the go-to guy for anything related to software, hardware, and all updates. He also handled any power outages, resets, or server issues.

Throughout his time with Seaberg, Bruce has been a team player, always doing what he could to take care of the company’s needs. Bruce has a knack for figuring out how things tick. His helpful attitude and willingness to assist were greatly appreciated.

Bruce worked tirelessly to ensure that systems ran smoothly, doing much of his work behind the scenes. Bruce always made himself available to help answer any questions or solve a problem. And whenever possible, he would automate processes to help make people’s jobs easier.

Please join us in thanking Bruce for his remarkable contributions. We wish him joy, fulfillment and adventure in the years ahead. Congratulations, Bruce!

Seaberg Industries and Crawford Company would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the employees that achieved a milestone anniversary in 2025.

Congratulations to Mike Martin on 20 years with Seaberg Industries! Mike is a second shift laser programmer and operator, along with being a Team Lead for the Press and Deburring Departments. In 2005, Seaberg purchased its first laser. Needing a laser operator, Seaberg was able to connect with Mike, who previously ran the laser. It was then that Mike joined the Seaberg team. Mike is very skilled in programming and can usually create a better nest than the software can on its own. He does an excellent job of keeping up on “hot orders” including the newest parts that come in weekly from a large customer. Mike is a dedicated employee, and we appreciate his hard work over the last 20 years. Congratulations, Mike!
