IITI Group

IITI Group Iowa-Illinois Taylor Insulation (IITI) has been your Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois neighbor for over 48 years.

In that time, we’ve continued to grow as a result of our shared values and strong commitment to service. Iowa Illinois Taylor Insulation, as it exists today, is the product of a merger that occurred in 2000. Prior to that merger the two halves of the company existed as Iowa Illinois Thermal Insulation of Davenport, IA and Taylor Insulation Company of Rock Island, IL. Ironically both companies were

originally formed in 1963 and existed as competitors, each with a solid reputation of quality and performance until the merger. As we merged the companies, we were looking for a new tag line - a phrase to simply describe what we felt our mission was. We decided on “Partnering for Energy’s Future”. “Partnering” hinted to the fact that we had just partnered our companies. More importantly, it described our philosophy on business relationships. We truly do feel we are partnering with our customers in order to help them achieve energy efficient building and mechanical insulation systems. “Energy’s Future” is a nod to the large amount of power and steam production sites that we provide services for, and suggested that it is in everyone’s best interest to do all we can to reduce our energy consumption. Taking that philosophy forward, we have established four offices in key cities within Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, making us easily accessible to companies and homes in the region. We’ve developed these locations and our quality staff by being in business for over 48 years. As we’ve said before – insulation isn’t something that is up for negotiation any longer. In addition to the level of comfort it provides the people living and working within the building, insulation has a lot to do with energy conservation, which can impact your financial bottom line. You can count on IITI for:

• The latest information on products and technology
• Up-to-date information on and full compliance with state and federal abatement guidelines
• Safe and effective solutions that meet your needs
• Standing behind our work

IITI boasts key leadership at each one of our four locations, and we proudly serve as a member in several associations in the insulation industry.

When airflow issues show up at vents or workspaces, the root cause is often deeper within the duct system. Internal buildup, blockages, or uneven distribution can quietly reduce system effectiveness over time. Addressing these internal issues helps restore balance across the system. IITI Group provides duct cleaning solutions that support consistent airflow.

In active industrial environments, insulation is often removed to allow access for maintenance or repairs. When it’s not properly restored, those access points become ongoing sources of heat loss and inefficiency. Maintaining insulation integrity after routine work is critical to long-term system performance.

Abatement doesn’t happen in isolation—multiple trades are often working within the same space during projects. Without coordination, abatement work can create bottlenecks or conflicts that slow progress. Aligning abatement with other trades helps maintain workflow and keeps projects moving efficiently. IITI Group works within coordinated project environments to support overall ex*****on.

Heat loss across large-scale industrial systems often goes unnoticed because it happens gradually. Thermal imaging and system audits can identify inefficiencies that impact energy usage and operating costs over time. Facilities that regularly evaluate insulation performance gain better visibility into where improvements can be made. IITI Group helps identify these inefficiencies so facilities can make informed decisions.

Duct systems in industrial facilities can accumulate dust and debris over time without obvious external signs. This buildup can restrict airflow and reduce system efficiency, placing additional strain on HVAC equipment. Routine duct cleaning helps restore system performance and maintain consistent environmental conditions.

In many operating facilities, legacy materials may still be present within mechanical systems and infrastructure. Without proper identification, these materials can pose risks during maintenance, upgrades, or repairs. Understanding where abatement is required helps facilities plan work safely and avoid unexpected disruptions. IITI Group helps identify and manage materials that require controlled handling.

Industrial equipment that operates under constant vibration can accelerate insulation wear, leading to breakdown at seams, joints, and supports. Over time, this can reduce performance and expose systems to heat loss or environmental damage. Selecting appropriate materials and installation methods helps insulation withstand these demanding conditions. IITI Group installs systems designed to perform in high-vibration environments.

Insulation system failures often begin at small, overlooked points. Once compromised, moisture intrusion and corrosion can begin spreading beneath the surface, affecting larger sections of the system over time. Early identification helps prevent localized issues from turning into widespread damage.

After shutdown, facilities depend on efficient restart timelines to return to production. Delays in abatement work can hold up mechanical teams and push back system startups. Coordinated abatement ensures hazardous materials are safely removed while keeping overall project sequencing on track. IITI Group supports facilities with abatement services that align with restart schedules.
