The UD-IAC and Ohio Lean Building Program recommended that UD Facilities install high efficiency motors and variable frequency drives on air handling units in Jesse Philips Humanities Center. The project, which has been approved, is expected to save $31,188 a year! This is equivalent to removing 42 homes from the grid!

A 2012 student-led research project suggesting the University establish a green revolving fund is promising a big payoff to the University in cost savings, innovation, learning opportunities and creating a greener campus.
