Gilbreath Creek Community Builders - GCCB BC-A licensed general contractors GCCB is named after Gilbreath Creek, which flows through our backyard.

We are a two-person team that does most of the construction work ourselves so that we can focus on the details. From land clearing to remodels to whole house construction, we're trying to bring a higher standard of things to eastern TN one project at a time.

Here’s a bracing detail to make a super stable deck. We have knee braces on the posts and partial V brace under the joists to prevent any side to side movement. This ledger also required special fastening to the house since we had to attach through brick. You cannot fasten to brick typically because it’s not structural. makes a brick veneer connector just for this!
