It's been awhile, but we've been busy. Small business owners can commiserate that there are never enough hours in a day with social media/advertising being the thing we put on our back burner while actual work takes priority!
So let's catch up, starting with a cabin that was built by hand some years ago by the original landowner but never finished then needed to be brought up to code in order to get utilities and become an actual residence. To start there were no windows, the foundation was a bit lacking we'll say, and the interior had only rough framing for a bathroom along with a staircase and creative railing to an incomplete loft. It is now a fully functioning residence with not only completely custom work throughout due to the original construction, but also has countertops that we made out of lumber the homeowners had gathered and cured.

On this Veteran's Day we pause to say thank you. To our friends who have served or are still serving. To our Veteran customers who have become friends. To fellow workers in the trades who have served. To all those who have served or are serving that we do not personally know. Thank you.

Throwing it back a few years to highlight some of the random work we do aside from home remodels, additions, and new builds. We are willing to tackle the middle-sized jobs that seem too small for larger GCs but too big for a handyman. This 1940s Northshore home doesn't look the same these days and it all began with our basement rehab and exterior stair overhaul!
Not shown: fully integrated French drain and drainage with waterproofing of the basement after removing a massive tree root. We returned a few years later to grind stumps once the trees came down. Give us a call to see if your project is in our wheelhouse!

Current project: taking a hand-hewn cabin that was never completed and turning it into a cozy home for new owners. There were no utilities on the property, therefore many aspects of this one have been like a new build, but other aspects have required some creativity and custom wood work...to say the least! While it looks like a different area this cute cabin is right here in Evensville, TN.

A sampling of deck projects. We work with homeowners to fit their needs, desires, and budgets as much as possible to create extensions of the home in the form of a deck or patio. Different from many companies around here, we insist on proper permitting and abiding by code as a minimum standard dictated by our license as a general contractor rather than a handyman service.

While not every project shown has stain, we advise homeowners that as soon as treated wood has cured it needs to be coated for longevity. We have multiple deck quotes pending at the moment but are always interested in adding more to the schedule!
