Embraer just received triple certification for two updated jets, the Praetor 500E and 600E, from the FAA, EASA, and Brazil’s aviation authority ANAC. The catch: first deliveries aren’t until 2029.

The E variants bring larger cabins, higher payload, an updated Cabin Management System, and a Smart Window on the 600E that doubles as a screen for video calls and real-time exterior views. Worth waiting for, if you can wait.

For buyers who need a midsize or super-midsize jet now, used Praetor 500 and 600 inventory covers the same range (3,340 nm and 4,018 nm) without the backlog. The Legacy 450 also comes in at $3 to $7 million less at ask and shares a type rating with the Praetor 500.
