Now accepting applications for injection molding setup technician.

This position will be full time on 2nd shift Monday thru Friday; Saturday based on production demands.

Starting pay would typically be $13 to $15 per hour however, significant prior experience will be reviewed. Valid prior experience for consideration needs to be in the field(s) of mold setup and/or injection molding processing.

Candidate will perform mold changes in 28-ton to 550-ton injection molding machines. Our overhead cranes are controlled with wireless pendants, making the job much easier than with traditional manual gantry cranes. Note that our cranes can’t always be used on our small specialized molds/plates/bases etc. In these cases, installation physically by hand will be required.

Candidate should be mechanically inclined, have good communication skills, work well with others, respect other workers and company equipment, maintain attention to detail, keep a clean work environment and maintain exceptional attendance.

The following benefits become available AFTER the hired candidate’s successful completion of a 90-day probation period; Comprehensive Medical Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401k Retirement, eight paid Holidays, unpaid leave policy, paid vacation after one year.

3rd Shift – 11:30 PM to 7:45 AM (Sunday – Friday A.M.)
Starting wage $13.00 per hour.
Up to $250 perfect attendance bonus; paid monthly.
Pay increases depend on a combination of your motivation, attendance, positive attitude, ability to work effectively with your shift/team, and your willingness to continuously accept and accomplish future challenges and responsibilities. Nearly all the current Management Group, Supervisors, and Support Staff at PCPI started in these very positions years ago.
We are a small, short-run, Custom Plastic Injection Molding Facility located about 2.3 miles south of State Route 274, approximately mid-way between ILHS and Jackson Center, Ohio. We do not have assembly lines, so you will not be assigned the same few repetitive tasks indefinitely.
