Through the years, I've seen several of these stock trailers come through that have had the nose rust out. Fixing it right is a process but it's a repair that will significantly increase the lifespan of your trailer!
I remove the rusted out area, clean up any old paint, and install a 1/8" thick plate along the bottom. I fully weld it in, inside and out, and prime everything before calling it finished.
As good as new!
