Robinson's 623,000-square-foot Iowa facility is coming together fast, and it's no small thing to watch a building like this go up from bare ground.

And so is the team. Hiring has already begun for select positions, production roles post this month, and we'll be hiring in earnest in November.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀-𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄: you won't be waiting around for the doors to open. We've set up a temporary training space nearby, so new hires get onboarded and trained now and are ready to roll the day the facility opens in January.

Future welders in the making!

We had a great time welcoming 30 students from De Pere High School's welding program to our DP3 facility for a behind-the-scenes tour during Manufacturing Month. Students got an up-close look at our welding and fabrication operations and saw how the skills they're learning today can turn into rewarding manufacturing careers tomorrow.

Our team loved seeing so many students interested in welding and the skilled trades. We're excited to see what the future holds for these young welders!

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮, 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿.

Ask Bella what she likes best about working at Robinson and she doesn’t talk about the building or the benefits. She talks about her welds getting noticed.

“Seeing a job well done… hearing some of the assemblers talk about my welds… that’s always nice. My work contributes to something bigger. Everybody fits into all the pieces. It’s one big project for everybody.”

Bella came to Robinson from another manufacturer, where she says it was heads down and that’s that. Here, her 4/11 day shift lines up with her mom’s, the Robinson Training Academy eased her transition, and she’s already planning to use our education assistance to become a Certified Welding Inspector.

Three words she uses for Robinson: accepting, teamwork, calm.
