BL Air Quality Inc wants to take a moment to remember December 7th, 1941

December 7th is a very special day – Pearl Harbor Day – the day that “lives in infamy.” It is the day that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor with a surprise attack at 7:55 am local time. The day that forced the United States to enter World War II.

Today, we pause to remember Pearl Harbor—one of the most defining and solemn moments in our nation’s history. On this day in 1941, the world changed forever as brave service members and civilians faced unimaginable tragedy.

We honor the 2,403 lives lost, the courage shown in the face of chaos, and the resilience that followed in the days and years after. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never guaranteed—it is protected by the dedication and bravery of those who serve.

As we reflect, let us carry forward their legacy with gratitude, unity, and a renewed commitment to peace. May we never forget the lessons of that day, nor the heroes who rose from it.
