After 41 years of dedicated service to Great Lakes Mechanical, Ray Gazzola is officially retiring! Ray was GLM’s longest tenured employee, who was a prime example of hard work and dedication. Our entire team benefitted from his leadership and passion in our shop. We are eternally grateful for everything he has done to make Great Lakes Mechanical so successful.

As we say farewell to Ray, we will also officially be closing Great Lakes Mechanical’s chapter. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of the support throughout the past 76 years. We are excited for our future to continue our work as a part of the Sylvan company. We look forward to bringing you more experience, expertise, and service than ever before!

Today's is here to remind you to stay mindful of your surroundings when working on a jobsite. Taking a 2-minute reset can help attune yourself to your work environment and prevent injuries.

July's Employee Spotlight goes to our Senior Project Coordinator, Annette Parker! She has been a highly valued member of our team for almost 20 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her wonderful grandson. When asked what she loves about working at Great Lakes Mechanical, she said:
"I’m coming up on 20 years here – times sure flies! I’ve always felt a part of the Great Lakes 'family' and enjoy the camaraderie we all share. We’re a terrific team!"

Today's is to remind you to take all precautions to ensure your body doesn’t get over heated. Heat exhaustion can be caused by exposure to high temperatures and lack of fluids. Make sure to hydrate before, during, and after working outside!
