Start of intake port of a 292ci chevy modifications. note head bolt casting restricting air flow. The following photos show removing restrictions and machining a countersink for a shorter modified head bolt. and installing oversized stainless steel valves, along with new valve guides, valve ex seats, screw in studs and pushrod guide plates.

As most of you know I run a machine shop, that does work for heavy duty engines for a 4 state area. So I have to give a RANT. Several times we have had a trucker staying in a hotel room, waiting for us to rebuild engine components... Now UPS has decided to only to give shipping service to us 3 days a week.
It depends on your zip code. let me say that again 3 days a week.
This also includes the city of Winnebago. I guess it's true, WE ARE THE ROCKS AND COWS!!
