Very Busy Few Weeks … New Machines, AC, Chip System, Summer Food Truck!!

Lots of improvements and investments going on at Vanamatic over the past few weeks! We received new equipment, BMX Rapido, bar feeders, additional Takamaz 2nd Op machine, our First Rebuilt ACME Machine is up and running, another to arrive in Sept., completed the CNC Division Quality Lab expansion, installed the new Chip Processing system at the CNC Div. & finally the welcome addition of New Air Conditioning for Building #2-CNC.

The logistics and ex*****on of these projects is crucial & complex, we could not do it without our Top Notch staff and the meaningful supplier relationships we have built over the years. We again thank our Screw Machine & CNC Division Maint. & Facilities teams along with our key vendors on these projects, All Temp Refrigeration (Delphos, Oh), Holp & Sons (Brookville, Oh), Kahle Technologies (Kalida, Oh), Chip Systems International (Scotts, MI), Brett May with BME (Port Huron, MI).

Also want to thank Staff Member Chad Lambert for custom making our new Main Office entrance sign.

With all the activities going on, the timing was perfect to Kick off our Summer Food Truck season. Shafer's Smoked Meats, who received the most votes by Vanamatic Staff in December, kicks off the season. On display was a variety of smoked meats and sides including brisket, pulled pork, baked beans and mac-n-cheese bowls. Toss it all together for their famous loaded nacho. Huge shout out to Paul, Dawn, & Kylie for always serving up our staff the best BBQ around – we appreciate it.

Thank you to Vanamatic for feeding our now 182 Staff Members at both Divisions!!

Additional Equipment Added

Building #4 at the CNC division is beginning to take shape, 5 new pieces of equipment will be added and put into service over the next few months as our growth continues. Additional equipment is also underway for the Screw Machine Division. We could not do with without our unbelievable staff and the partnerships we have with our key suppliers, H.R. Holp & Son Moving & Rigging and Kahle Technologies.

Joe Elston Official Retirement:

Last week we celebrated Joe Elston's Official retirement from Vanamatic Company.

On behalf of all current and past Staff, we cant say thank you enough for all the years of service and dedication.

Joe spent exactly 25 years both full & part-time with Vanamatic Company going all the way back to 1991. Joe spent 20 years as our Quality Department lead before moving to New York. Joe returned part-time in 2022 taking on a key Quality Technician role, leading our new product PPAP process.

On behalf of everyone here at Vanamatic, we truly wish Joe a safe, healthy, enjoyable and WELL DESERVED RETIREMENT. Joe and his wife Nancy are currently enjoying an "out west" Route 66 camping trip - ENJOY!!

Congratulations to MIKE GEORGE!!!

Mike will be Celebrating 30 years with Vanamatic in May.
Mike, like many who work for Vanamatic, has been around a long time... Mike's request for his 30 year trip is fitting and unique.

Mike has been entered into the 2026 National Walleye Tournament series, which is 4 separate events culminating with a chance to compete at the National Championship in Garrison, North Dakota in August.

The first of the 4 series events was this past weekend in Monroe Michigan, up in Mike's stomping grounds - Lake Erie.

He was a little nervous going in, but placing 5th out of 132 anglers is a pretty darn good start!!! Congratulations to Mike and we all wish him luck in South Dakota in May, Bay De Noc, Michigan in June and, Bay of Green Bay, Wisconsin in July! If he keeps this pace we will surely see him at Nationals in August!!!!

We can’t thank Mike enough for his many years of service to the Vanamatic Family. CONGRATULATIONS Mike!!!

30 Years & Another Move

We want to first congratulate John Munoz for 30 Years of Service to Vanamatic Company. John will be taking his 30 year trip next week to somewhere much warmer than Ohio!! We hope he and his wife have a great trip and can't thank him enough for all his efforts leading our Screw Machine Division Maintenance & Rebuild Teams!!

The first of 6 new pieces of equipment arrived at the CNC division today and is the first to hit the floor in our new Building #4 expansion. Remaining machines will arrive in April and again in July.

Our Growth continues, we could not do with without our unbelievable staff and the partnerships we have with our key suppliers, H.R. Holp & Son Moving & Rigging (Boy are these guys good), Kahle Technologies, Superior Equipment and Eurotech.

Another Big Moving Day...

Vanamatic welcomed 3 new pieces equipment along with bar feeders and numerous equipment relocations at both the CNC & Screw Machine Divisions.

We also said goodbye to one of our favorite pieces of equipment over the years (ZPS) but we are confident it has found a great new home and will be a valuable asset to the new buyer!

We are also the proud owner of our first ever ACME Multi-Spindle Machine which will go through an extensive rebuild process over the coming months and will join our CONOMATIC'S as part of our screw machine division.

Expansion into CNC Building #4 is also underway... Vanamatic's Growth and Expansion plans continue at both Divisions, A HUGE THANK YOU to our Maintenance & Rebuild teams who always go above and beyond. Special thanks to the team at Kahle Technology for getting the electrical drops prepped and ready for installation and to HR Holp for safely getting the newest investments set on the floor.
