🏠 Regular Roof Damage vs. Storm Damage
Not all asphalt shingle damage has the same cause.
Regular roof damage typically develops over time and may include:
• Granule loss from normal aging
• Cracked, curled, or brittle shingles
• Worn seal strips and exposed fiberglass
• Deterioration caused by poor ventilation or long-term moisture
Storm damage often appears suddenly and may include:
• Creased, lifted, torn, or missing shingles from high winds
• Circular impact marks or bruising caused by hail
• Fresh granule loss with exposed asphalt
• Damage to flashing, vents, gutters, and other roof components
• Debris impact or punctures
Storm damage is not always visible from the ground. If severe weather has recently affected your area, Turner Construction Services can perform a professional roof inspection and document any damage found.
