Job Description:
You will be starting plug and draw processes (sizing product to customer specifications) on steel tube under ½” diameter and maintain quality assurance of product, removing tube coils from payloads, tying them up, and maintaining all safety and process directives. Must be comfortable working with oil and mineral spirits and able to lift up to 50 lbs. This individual will assist and learn other production areas as well and be cross trained and utilized in the future. Manufacturing, welding, grinding, or mechanical experience is a plus as this is a hands on and physical job.
We are a family business, manufacturing and producing small diameter stainless steel tubing since 1995, located near Broadway and I-25 and accessible by light rail and bus. Two weeks paid vacation pre-set at end of year and end of June time frames, when the shop closes down. 3.5 days of sick time per year and 10 additional paid holidays in addition to company health insurance with employee contribution. Employees participate in a generous profit sharing program with end of year bonuses based on profit and your individual contribution.
Start time is either 6a or 7a and end time is 2p or 3p, M-F 40 hours/week, overtime is possible. Occasional Saturdays optional.
