Today's job is fixing a drywall ceiling another contractor bailed on. He apparently chose to use nails without glue and the ceiling is falling in on itself and cracking at the seams. Nails used to be the standard 20 years ago, but today screws are used by the majory of the industry. You will only find nails on cheap low quality track homes.

Tip - if you see your contractor using anything but screws' speak up.

One of our trucks broke down mid-job, and a key cabinet order came in severely damaged. Not exactly what you want when you're trying to keep projects on schedule.

But that’s the nature of the business — things go sideways, and you adapt. We’ve shifted gears, focused on other customers in the queue, and kept the momentum going while we sort things out.
