So, uh. I was repping CareerBuilder hard for a minute, and the verdict is still out; I still have several interviews lined up for part time work, and tons of leads, and I haven't applied anymore than a couple bulk batch applications several days ago. However, I would be remiss to not mention the level of bu****it I've waded through. Tons of obvious scams: including what I am now assuming is a scam (the remote data role I was excited about a few weeks ago) because of the bu****it I've dealt with and how it relates to CareerBuilder.
I've been waiting on a sign-on bonus for weeks and they wouldn't let me start training yesterday without having received the check and set up my work station. I noticed several more shady things as I started looking into it, including several much more obvious scams doing the same online only interview. Also, peep the link below.
I AM currently scheduling an interview (by phone) with a lab in north Boulder that I probably won't end up taking, but would love to recommend somebody for, so please let me know if you are looking for that kind of work. I am also still interviewing for a similar position near 6th and Federal
Also also, I have a friend looking for a quality laborer/handy man for $35/hour ASAP. I have some folx to follow up with about this already, but there will be tons more quality labor work this year, including permaculture/garden work. So LMK if you know folx looking in these realms as well.
Okay, love ya, buh bye!
P.S. Updated post on how to look for work coming sooon
