For everyone who follows us - Today I’m sharing a video of a moment that means so much to me — the new truck reveal for one of my crews.
After three years of leading my team at Forefront Renovations, I’ve been reflecting on just how far we’ve come. What started as a response to, "you can't do that" has turned into a journey filled with growth, grit, and so much heart. We’ve faced challenges, celebrated wins, and learned to become better — more refined, more mature, and more connected through it all.
Today was one of those full-circle moments. I had the incredible honor of surprising one of my crews with a new vehicle, made possible through Progressive’s Driving Small Business Forward grant. Watching their faces light up reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
These are the moments I live for — overcoming the tough days on a jobsite, turning over a beautifully finished project to a proud client, diving into a new estimate with excitement and curiosity, or simply sharing my story with someone new.
In the words of The Go-Giver:
“Success is the result of specific habits of action: creating value, touching people’s lives, putting others’ interests first, being real, and having the humility to stay open to receiving.”
I’m here for it — today, and for all the years to come. 💫

Phase 3 of the Word of Life Christian Center renovation is progressing with momentum. Our focus includes concrete work for concealed AV wiring trenches, custom baptism trap doors, and new paint and flooring.

By working collaboratively our crews are committed to delivering exceptional results as we continue to transform this space.

It's been a pleasure to work with the teams at Turnstone Capital and AAtlas Real Estateon this project and we hope the new tenants enjoy utilizing the upgrades as much as we enjoyed building them!

Join us on a tour of the newly completed courtyards and see what the college students have to say about their new outdoor living areas!

At Forefront Renovations, we excel in both interior and outdoor transformations. By replacing old decking and planters, rebuilding the ground base, installing pavers and turf, crafting outdoor kitchens with new masonry and gas grills, and elevating the ambiance with new string lights and planters, we were able to take this space from drab to fab in just 2 short months!

🔧 How-To Tuesday: Installing an A/C Unit

Today's How-To Tuesday features Madrid LLC guiding you through the steps to install a through-the-wall A/C unit! Stay tuned until the end of this video to catch a quick time-lapse of the installation.

Steps:
1. Measure Your Frame: Begin by measuring out your frame accurately.
Cut with Precision: Utilize your Milwaukee Concrete Saw to cut the frame precisely.
2. Break the Brick: Use a chisel and hammer to break out the brick with care.
Drill for Ease: Employ a hammer drill to create holes around the concrete for easier removal in even blocks.
3. Even Out the Space: Use an Oscillating Tool to ensure your open square is uniform.
4. Install the A/C Frame: Place the A/C frame securely in the prepared space.
Level and Caulk: Ensure everything is level, and caulk the inside lining of your frame.
5. Fit the Unit: Install the A/C unit and use filler material around the frame to ensure a snug fit.
6. Add the Cover: Place the cover securely, ensuring everything is caulked and the A/C unit fits tightly.
7. Clean Up: Finally, clean your workspace and the A/C unit with easy-to-use cleaning products. Goo Gone can be used for any excess caulk.
