Every beam, every footing, every piece of this building represents something bigger than construction progress — it represents gratitude.

Our team is deeply honored to share an update from the upcoming Miles City VA Community Living Center, a place that will soon provide dignity, comfort, and care to the Veterans who have given so much for all of us.

As the walls go up, we’re reminded why we do this work:
To serve those who once stood in service for us.
To give back to the men and women who sacrificed quietly, bravely, and without hesitation.

To create a home where they will be seen, valued, and cared for.

Thank you to our incredible partners and crews working tirelessly in the cold Montana winds to bring this vision to life. And thank you to the Miles City community for welcoming this project with open arms.

This is more than a building.

🎉 A Milestone Moment! 🎉

We had an incredible ribbon-cutting ceremony for our first VA Outpatient Clinic in Montana, with over 250 people in attendance! 🇺🇸🏥

This marks our first ground-up construction project—a testament to our commitment to serving our nation’s heroes with top-tier healthcare facilities.

And we’re just getting started! This is the first of two VA clinics we’re building in the Great State of Montana, with more exciting projects on the horizon.

📢 Breaking Ground in Rock Springs, WY!

We're excited to announce the start of construction on the new Rock Springs VA Clinic! This marks our 10th VA project and our 2nd in Wyoming. More than just a building, this clinic will be a place where local veterans can receive essential healthcare and support.

The Avens Group Breaks Ground on New VA Clinic in Rock Springs, Wyoming

Rock Springs, WY — October 24, 2024 – The Avens Group celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Rock Springs Wyoming VA Clinic, their tenth VA project and second in Wyoming. The new clinic, expected to play a pivotal role in providing essential healthcare services to local veterans, marks another step in The Avens Group’s ongoing mission to serve veterans and communities nationwide.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Luke Orander, Founder & CEO of The Avens Group and an Air Force veteran, emphasized the deeper significance behind the construction. “This marks Avens’ 10th VA Project and our 2nd one in the great state of Wyoming. At The Avens Group, our company motto is 'Building a Legacy.' That legacy is woven into every project we take on. It's not simply about constructing walls or placing equipment; it's about creating spaces where lives will be changed. The Rock Springs VA Clinic represents a legacy of care, compassion, and commitment to our nation’s veterans. The Rock Springs VA Clinic will be equipped to meet a broad spectrum of healthcare needs for veterans in the area, reducing travel and wait times for essential services. Luke expresses, "Being chosen for this project is a once-in-a-lifetime privilege. Returning to Abilene, where I served in uniform and later became a veteran myself, fills me with immense pride. Now, constructing the newest VA Clinic in West Texas, dedicated to serving generations of veterans in the Big Country, leaves me deeply humbled and grateful!"

The Avens Group is proud to be Tepeyac's Owner Representative for their New Community Health Center located at 48 & Race in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood in north Denver.
 
The 4 story project includes Tepeyac’s expansion of services 24,500 sq ft medical office space for primary care, dental, and behavior health services, a retail space for a potential fresh food market, and 150-unit income restricted apartment complex. This development is in partnership with Columbia Ventures and Urban Land Conservancy (ULC). Build being performed by I-Kota Construction. I-Kota has been an exceptional partner.

“On the eve of this Memorial Day, I am reminded of why we do, “what we do”. The Avens Group is committed to reducing US Veterans su***des by aiding the Federal Government in expanding access and enhancing the quality of Veterans Affairs clinic’s across the country.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for the men and women serving in uniform that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our county…and our freedom.

These hero’s left the comfort of their homes and the love and care of their families to serve and defend our country from all enemies… foreign and domestic.

These heroes never made it home. Whether losing their life on the battlefield or losing their life due to su***de based on the extreme burden that war puts on an individual. I feel it’s our responsibility to always remember these hero’s.

The Avens office will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

I challenge all members and followers of the Avens team to disconnect for the day, spend quality time with your friends and family, and enjoy this great country that we live in.
