The impact of the Black Gold Gala continues long after the evening ends!
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, attendees, and donors, COGA and Colorado Energy Foundation are proud to award $230,000 in grant funding to four outstanding Colorado nonprofit organizations: Energy Outreach Colorado, Make-A-Wish Colorado, HOPE OF THE GRAND VALLEY, and WeeCycle.
Each of these organizations is making a meaningful difference in communities across our state.
Energy Outreach Colorado helps Coloradans afford their home energy needs and access support during difficult times. COGA and CEF’s support will assist 166 households, ensuring they don’t have to choose between heating their homes and buying groceries or other necessities.
Make-A-Wish Colorado creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, bringing hope, strength, and joy to families across Colorado. Our support will help grant 10 wishes for Colorado children and inspired attendees at Whiskey, Wine & Wishes to raise an additional $75,000 to double the impact.
HOPE OF THE GRAND VALLEY provides support and empowerment for full-time working parents and their children who receive minimal to no government assistance. Our support of this group will help cover unexpected costs for these families as they work to overcome financial challenges, break the cycle of poverty, and build a brighter future.
WeeCycle supports families with infants and toddlers who are struggling to provide for their children by connecting them with essential supplies. Our support will help provide Colorado families with critical items like diapers, formula, safe sleep items, strollers, and other baby gear that help keep children healthy and safe.
