It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of Iron Edison after 12 years of operation. We deeply appreciate the opportunity to have served our customers throughout the years, and it is regrettable that we cannot continue our presence in the battery industry.

While our operations have ceased, we have a limited staff available in June to fulfill existing orders and liquidate our remaining inventory. Next week, we will be sending out an email detailing our inventory liquidation sale, which may include both new and used equipment. For any ongoing technical support needs, we have partnered with David Bly at Terravolt. Throughout the month of June, David will provide free technical support to existing Iron Edison customers. However, starting from July, he will begin charging for his services. Iron Edison works with people who want a battery with their solar array. The addition of the battery has myriad benefits. The battery can be used to power a house when the grid is down, backing up some or all of the home's electrical circuits. In another case, we work with people who do not have access to the electrical grid due to their remote location. In this scenario, the battery is critically important because it powers the home all the time, day and night. In a third type of use case, a battery can be used to reduce electric bills by supplementing electricity when utility rates are in peak periods.

At Iron Edison, we work with customers to help find solar installers in your area. Customers sometimes do not have a solar installer to help with the solar and battery installation. With that said, we have two good options to help. First, we can look to our existing database of solar installers who we have worked with in the past. Second, we can help locate and talk to a solar installer who has not previously worked with our battery. We can give them guidance on how to install our product and establish a relationship to work with them again in the future.
