Our team, families, and friends celebrated Halloween at the 13th Floor, making memories between the screams. Thanks to everyone who was able to join us and made the night one to remember.

Good times, great company, and a little friendly competition!⛳

Gilmore's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament was one for the books! From friendly competition on the course to plenty of laughs and memorable moments, we had an incredible time bringing our team together for a day of fun, camaraderie, and connection.

And the fun didn't stop there! We kept the momentum going by sponsoring the Black Construction Group's (BCG) Night Golf event, hosted with the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce (CBCC), where we enjoyed another great evening of golf, networking, and community connection! 🏌️‍♂️✨

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, helped organize, and made both events such a success. We're grateful for every opportunity to strengthen relationships, celebrate our team, and support the organizations that make our community stronger.

Building opportunity takes all of us.

As Construction Inclusion Week wraps up, we’re celebrating the connections that help move our industry forward.

As part of the GC Collaborative, Gilmore joined fellow contractors, public agencies, and small and diverse businesses for the 4th Annual GC Collaborative CIW Summit at CSU Spur. Through sessions on marketing, BuildingConnected, and workforce development, the summit created space to share knowledge, ask questions, and build relationships.

For us, inclusion means creating opportunities to participate, contribute, and grow. Bringing people together is one way we keep that work moving beyond Construction Inclusion Week.

Thank you to our fellow GC Collaborative members, presenters, and everyone who joined us. We also thank our team for participating in events throughout the week, helping put the spirit of Construction Inclusion Week into action.

Gilmore Construction was proud to join so many amazing young women and organizations for a day filled with creativity, learning, and connection!

From building blocks and blueprint challenges to our fun photo booth and prizes, we loved seeing the girls get creative while exploring the exciting possibilities within the construction industry! Beyond the activities, we had meaningful conversations about career pathways, internship opportunities, and the many ways young women can build their futures in construction and transportation.

A huge thank you to the HOYA Foundation and everyone who made this incredible day possible! We're proud to help inspire, encourage, and create opportunities for the next generation of builders and leaders.

Congratulations to this year’s DEN Business Development Training Academy graduates!

Gilmore was proud to celebrate this milestone and take part in the Procurement Trade Show that followed. The event gave graduates and other local businesses a chance to connect with teams currently working at DEN, learn about available resources, and explore future procurement and partnership opportunities.

Events like this are an important way for Gilmore to give back. By sharing what we have learned, building genuine relationships, and connecting small businesses with resources and opportunities, we help strengthen the community that makes work at DEN possible.

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team supporting major construction projects related to airline operations and facility functions at the Denver International Airport.

This highly visible, mission-critical role will oversee construction activities in an active airport environment where safety, security, quality, coordination and minimizing operational disruptions are essential.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading field construction for technology integration infrastructure, including communication rooms, backbone connections, distribution networks and mission-critical technology systems
- Managing operational tenant improvement projects in active airport areas while protecting airline operations, airport security and the safety of employees and the public
- Coordinating specialized building systems, including HVAC, life safety interfaces, electrical distribution, technology and communications systems, and customer-facing FF&E installations

The ideal candidate will have experience leading complex commercial, aviation, transportation, data center or mission-critical construction. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and field operations is essential. Candidates must be able to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, quality and professionalism. Previous DEN experience and a current DEN SIDA badge are strongly preferred.

Last Week, COMTO Colorado helped bring our community together to celebrate Phil Washington’s well earned retirement and recognize the impact of his leadership.
