Is your MRF operation handling material multiple times before going through the baling process? Is your space occupied by multiple containers to store material until you have enough to make a bale? The Revolution aims to decrease the handling of material to decrease operating costs and improve your overall recycling capabilities. With an optional rear feed vertical baler you can place one under up to 11 chutes. This not only saves your operation time and money, but it also decreases the amount of space needed in your facility. The vertical balers are offered in 2 different sizes, 6" and 7" cylinders. This allows users to make optimal bale sizes based on what material is being baled. Trucks can therefore be loaded to maximum efficiency when shipping baled products to a mill.

One of our top goals in the recycling industry is to divert materials that can be recycled, from the landfill. The Roadie, our mobile sorting system, utilizes our patented Revolution to provide a solution to address this need. At an Indiana University football game, "In total, the group collected 1,625 lbs. of waste ... The Roadie sorted and consolidated... 991 lbs. of recyclable material which was directly transported to a recycling center." Materials that would otherwise be transported to and buried in a landfill are now able to be processed and placed back into reuse. We are bringing the sorting to your recyclables!

Does your recycling process lose valuable materials to the landfill? Do you have to reprocess your waste to get the remainder of the valuable material out? The Revolution is a sorting table that rotates in a circle allowing sorters standing inside to sort the material outward into 11 different chutes. The last chute in the system is typically used for trash, in a recycling application. The brush is located at this chute and can be moved up or down to keep material from making a second pass or to allow it to pass multiple times. The Revolution will increase your recovery rate as well as the efficiency of your sorting process. The Roadie, our mobile sorting system utilizes the same concept.

In collaboration with Closed Loop Partners, Revolution Systems engineered a mobile version of our patented recycling sorting platform, the Roadie. It was intended to be a transportable mobile recycling facility that would act as an educational tool for communities to learn about recycling and make it easier for event venues to handle their recyclable materials. Recently at Nissan Stadium, "Material captured at the game was sorted on site by the Roadie collecting more than 40,000 plastic bottles and 59,000 aluminum cans." The Roadie has driven over a thousand miles to various locations to demonstrate its capabilities. The Roadie is designed and constructed to be assembled in less than an hour, and it replicates the capabilities of the Revolution in a portable version.

Revolution Systems has launched two new recycling systems. The round shape of the Revolution facilitates faster and more efficient sorting by workers. When compared to the conventional linear sorting method, this system requires less square footage. The unique design of the Revolution allows material to pass multiple times to increase the quantity of recycled material. Its optional multi-pass capability allows workers to greatly enhance the quality of the sorted material, sending more of it back into reuse and diverting it from the landfill. Our equipment is engineered with the intention of helping communities recycle more affordably, profitably and efficiently.
