Look at that team!!

Ascent was proud to attend the fifth annual Mer Bear Clay Shootout, supporting Engineers in Action and the incredible work they are doing to connect communities with the infrastructure they need to thrive.

This year feels especially exciting for our team. Justin Bride and his son will be joining engineers in action on their trip to Bolivia, putting their time and skills towards the hands-on work that makes such a meaningful impact. We can’t wait to see what they experience, learn, and bring home with them.

Thank you to Engineers in Action for letting us be a part of the day and for the work you continue to do around the world. We’re proud to support you and even more excited for what’s ahead!

You’ve seen the curb appeal, now let’s get to the good stuff. 😉

We couldn’t be more thrilled with how the interiors turned out in this Berkeley home addition. Designed to blend seamlessly with the existing home while taking inspiration from a Parisian loft, these new spaces feel as though they’ve always been part of the story.

The family’s new favorite space has quickly become the den. A retreat for creativity, focus, and the everyday moments that make a house feel like home. And can we talk about the details? From the thoughtfully layered finishes to the sweetest little girls room, every space feels full of personality. Just wait until you see the girls bathroom wallcovering! Absolutely precious!

This project was all about creating room for what matters most while staying true to the character of the home. We’re so grateful to our clients for trusting us with their vision and couldn’t be happier with the result.

At Ascent, one of the most meaningful parts of what we do is the relationships that come from it. Building a home is such a personal process, and because of that, many of our clients become lifelong friends. One of those clients recently introduced us to Reclaim, a nonprofit organization she works closely with through their initiatives in India, and we’ve been incredibly inspired by the work they’re doing.

Reclaim is centered around community development, partnering directly with marginalized communities to help remove social and economic barriers. Through education centers, access to technology, healthcare support, and mentorship for continuing education, they are creating opportunities that lead to long-term growth and stability. Their mission is rooted in collaboration and empowerment, which is something we deeply admire.

Giving back through community-focused organizations has always been important to us at Ascent. We also support Engineers in Action, a nonprofit that improves access to healthcare, education, clean water, sanitation, and economic opportunity through built infrastructure in underserved communities worldwide.

We’re grateful for the people this industry connects us with and inspired by organizations that are creating meaningful, lasting impact in communities around the world.

New project alert! The ideation phase is always a favorite, and this one is no exception. Those colors had us from the start. There’s something about this mix that feels instantly warm and collected.
