This morning, we hosted our Liberty & Energy Speaker Series, which brings together expert voices to explore Liberty’s dual passions and two of the most important drivers of the modern world: liberty and energy.

Our conversation focused on the growing tension between political promises, legislative ambitions, and the realities of today’s energy infrastructure. We examined whether today’s grid can meet rising demand and what must be done to continue improving human lives.

Discussion topics included:
• The current energy landscape in Colorado and key regulatory developments
• The implications of net-zero targets and clean heat policies
• Grid capacity, reliability, and the innovations needed to exceed basic electricity needs
• Long-term impacts on local communities, businesses, and the broader energy ecosystem

A sincere thank you to our panelists, Jennifer Gremmert, CEO of Energy Outreach Colorado, and Alice Yake, VP of Grids at Breakthrough Energy, for bringing thoughtful perspectives and meaningful dialogue to the conversation. Recently, team members from our Haynesville office came together to support United Way’s Day of Caring.

This year, the group volunteered at Shreveport Green, a local community garden, where they rolled up their sleeves to w**d, garden, and take on a variety of lawn and maintenance projects.

Now in their fourth year partnering with United Way, our employees continue to demonstrate Liberty Energy’s commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work.
