We are looking for an HVAC Installer to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
Position Summary:
To deliver exceptional HVAC service to the client by completing and installing HVAC equipment and accessories. To ensure all work is performed correctly.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Lead Technician with the installation of HVAC related equipment according to manufactures specifications.
• Support Lead Installer In:
• Installing HVAC related Equipment.
• Installing sheet metal duct systems.
• Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.
• Cutting and threading pipes.
• Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
• Installing Copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing. * Inspect area for cleanliness after job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Informs manager or team leader of any safety issues.
• Maintain a professional image at all times by wearing company approved uniform.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as a HVAC installer.
• Posses good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent client service skills with desire to exceed client expectations.
• Function in a team environment.
• Valid drivers license and approved to drive by company’s insurance carrier.
Education/ Certification requirements.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Prior work experience in the HVAC industry as a HVAC installer.
Working Conditions.
• Work in indoor/outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures.
• Climbing, heavy lifting, standing, stooping, bending, crawling, crouching, kneeling, sitting and reaching.
Physical Requirements.
• Ability to work in tight spaces such attics and/ or crawlspaces.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items,
• Occasionally work from heights 15 feet or higher above ground.
• Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule, if needed.
