The second story of the A frame features all the moody vibes with all the wood tones and dark green tiles. There is also a small loft area with a desk and a sleeper sofa. We even included an outdoor picnic table for all the neighborhood squirrels.

We love to design and build houses. We do not love running a social media account but I am going to do my best to share some of the projects that we have done in the past year or so. The A frame was incredibly fun to design, not quite as much fun to build but the finished result makes it all worthwhile.

The beginnings of a new project. I will breathe a deep sigh of relief when all of the rafters are set. Can't wait to get started on the interior design and to make this a cozy home. Also can't wait until the little one can start helping daddy with the heavy lifting. I kid....I want to keep him little for quite a while longer.

Sharing photos today of a project we completed a couple months ago. This cozy cottage was a favorite of mine to design. As with any project there were some hurdles and frustrations such as the cabinet maker accidentally painting the kitchen the wrong color and although it wasn't quite the vision I had planned for the space we embraced it so as not to hold up the project and I think it looks quite pretty as it is.

This was such a fun remodel to do for friends of ours. There are alot of details and decisions that go into remodeling a space like this and I always hold my breath in hopes that it will look the way it did in my head when it is all finished and this one turned out beautifully. My friend has impeccable style and I couldn't love all the details on this more, including the built in office and mudroom area which was an after thought, but a good one. And someday I will hire a professional photographer to do justice to these projects.
