The Triangle Building — a landmark of sharp angles, light-catching glass, and LEED Gold sustainability woven into its design — has long stood as one of Denver’s most recognizable workspaces.
We teamed up with i2Construction to refresh the building’s high-traffic common spaces, where every detail mattered. Under the direction of a design team with meticulous attention to detail, this became one of the most rewarding service projects our team has delivered.
Materials were selected for performance, flow, and sustainability, including a custom Shaw carpet inlay in the lounge and resilient finishes throughout the amenity and athletic areas.

Celebrating 25 Years of Acierno & Company

Last week, Cheryl gathered the team for an afternoon of bowling, laughter, and stories — the kind of celebration that reminds us what makes Acierno special.

For 25 years, Cheryl’s leadership has built more than a company — she’s built a family. Many of the team in the photos have been part of Acierno for a decade or more, helping shape who we are today through loyalty, hard work, and friendship.

We celebrated those incredible milestones — 10, 20, and 25 years — but more than anything, we celebrated the people who make Acierno great (at least to us!) 😊

Here’s to the next chapter — and to the people who’ve made every one of the last 25 years something worth cheering for.

Honoring a Denver Landmark: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Catholic Church.

Our team recently refreshed the carpeting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Italian Catholic Church —a Romanesque Revival and Colorado Landmark (built 1899–1904) that has stood at the heart of North Denver’s Italian community for more than a century.

This project was especially meaningful for our owner, Cheryl Acierno. Her family’s story in Colorado began with this parish, where they found community, faith, and belonging after immigrating from Italy. Today, Cheryl and her family remain members of the parish—making the connection to this project deeply personal. That heritage is still alive every time the church bell rings—the “heartbeat of North Denver.”

Cheryl worked closely with the parish priest and church administrator to select a carpet that would signal renewal while respecting the church’s existing finishes and historic artifacts. We partnered with Bentley Mills Los Angeles to achieve the right balance of durability, acoustics, and timeless design to deliver a product that could honor the space while refreshing the color scheme. We are proud to have played a small part in stewarding a church that continues to anchor traditions such as the Mount Carmel Bazaar each July, La Prima Domenica Mass in Italian, and St. Joseph’s Table (to name a few) while remaining listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Sometimes the best seats in the house aren’t just for clients. At Acierno & Company, we believe in recognizing the dedication our team brings to every project—whether it’s through a surprise lunch, a little extra time off, or an evening at the ballpark with family. ⚾

This week, Laura Wester, our Operations Administrator & Accounting Assistant, enjoyed a night cheering on the Rockies in style with her family. In her role, Laura helps solve day-to-day tasks, understands how each person does their job to effectively solve problems, and oversees the AP process in accounting.

We’re grateful for the heart and skill Laura brings to our team—and we’re always happy to celebrate the people who make our company great.
