Our rooftop installation at Niagara Maintenance is a great example of why commercial solar needs to be designed around the facility—not simply around how many panels can fit on the roof.
At National Solar Technologies, properly sizing a commercial solar system starts with understanding how the business actually uses electricity. That means looking at historical energy usage and demand, available roof space, shading and solar exposure, future energy needs, and utility/interconnection requirements.
As you can see with the Niagara Maintenance project, the system was designed around the building’s available roof space while accounting for existing rooftop equipment and the facility’s specific energy needs.
The goal isn’t to install the most panels. It’s to install the right system. Every business uses energy differently, and its solar system should reflect that.
