๐ŸŽƒ DONโ€™T LET YOUR FURNACE BE THE SCARIEST THING IN THE HOUSE THIS OCTOBER.

Cold nights are starting to creep back into Iowa, and that means furnaces across the Des Moines metro are firing up again after sitting most of the summer.

That first stretch of colder weather is when a lot of hidden problems finally show themselves.

A fall furnace tune-up gives our technicians a chance to check operation, inspect important safety components, look for developing repair concerns, and make sure your heating system is ready before it has to work every day.

Because surprise breakdowns are a lot less fun when they happen at 2 AM in January. ๐Ÿ‘ป

And if we find something? Weโ€™ll explain it clearly and give you options. No spooky sales tactics. No turning every tune-up into a replacement pitch.

Just honest service from a local team that has been serving Des Moines homeowners since 2007.

๐Ÿ”ฅ REPLACING YOUR HVAC SYSTEM SHOULDNโ€™T FEEL LIKE A GAMBLE.

A new furnace or full heating and cooling system is one of the bigger investments youโ€™ll make in your home. The equipment matters, but so does everything around it โ€” proper sizing, installation quality, workmanship, setup, and the team that stands behind it after the job is done.

Thatโ€™s where Midwest Comfort puts the emphasis.

We take the time to look at the home, understand the comfort concerns, explain the options, and recommend what actually makes sense. No rushed sales pitch. No trying to push every homeowner into the biggest system on the page.

Just straightforward information, fair pricing, and an install team that takes pride in doing the job correctly.

Buy it right or buy it twice. We want you to feel confident in the system youโ€™re buying and the people putting it in.

A tidy furnace setup is a good sign, but even the best-looking system needs regular attention to keep running right.

The furnace and water heater in your basement work harder than almost anything else in your home, especially once the Iowa cold moves in. Dust buildup, worn ignitors, and a dirty flame sensor are all small things that quietly cut efficiency and drive up your bills. A fall Heating Service visit catches these issues early, before they turn into a no-heat call on a freezing morning.

Here's what our team checks during a seasonal visit:

โ€ข Furnace inspection, cleaning, and safety testing
โ€ข Boiler Repair for homes with hydronic heat
โ€ข HVAC Repair and tune-ups for heat pumps
โ€ข Honest recommendations, never pressure

Midwest Comfort Heating & Cooling is a family-owned company that has served Des Moines homeowners for over 15 years. From routine maintenance and HVAC Service to Heat Pump Installation and AC Repair when summer returns, we treat your home like our own.

Call today to get your furnace checked before the first real cold snap hits Des Moines.

๐Ÿฅถ ONE ROOM FEELS LIKE A SAUNA. THE NEXT ONE NEEDS A SPACE HEATER.

Uneven heating is one of the most common comfort complaints we hear once Iowa winter settles in.

And the answer isnโ€™t always โ€œyou need a new furnace.โ€

Cold rooms can come from a lot of places: airflow problems, dirty filters, closed or restricted vents, ductwork issues, thermostat location, equipment performance, or a heating system that simply isnโ€™t distributing air the way it should.

Thatโ€™s why weโ€™d rather diagnose the comfort problem first than jump straight to selling equipment.

Our technicians can look at how the system is operating, what the airflow looks like, and where the comfort difference is happening throughout the home. Sometimes the fix is straightforward. Sometimes there are several options. Either way, weโ€™ll explain what we find and let you decide what makes sense.

Thatโ€™s the Midwest Comfort approach: service before sales.

That old ductwork in the basement plays a bigger role in your comfort than you might think.

When ducts leak or sag, heated air escapes before it ever reaches your living spaces, and your furnace ends up running longer to make up the difference. With winter getting closer in Des Moines, IA, this is a great time to have your Heating Service visit include a full look at your ductwork so every room warms up the way it should.

๐Ÿ”ฅ IF YOUR FURNACE IS ON BORROWED TIME, REPLACEMENT DOESNโ€™T HAVE TO BE A HEADACHE.

A furnace replacement is a major home expense, and most homeowners want the same things: a fair price, equipment they can depend on, an installation done correctly, and enough time to make a smart decision without being pressured into one.

Thatโ€™s exactly how we approach replacement at Midwest Comfort.

Weโ€™ll look at your home, talk through what you actually need, explain the equipment options clearly, and build a system around your comfort and budget โ€” not around a sales quota.

Right now, qualifying homeowners can take advantage of 0% financing for 36 months along with replacement specials up to $2,000 off select systems.

And once you decide to move forward, the installation matters just as much as the equipment. Our install team takes pride in doing the job the right way the first time.

Buy it right or buy it twice. Your HVAC system is too big of an investment to cut corners on.

Midwest Comfort has been locally owned since 2007, with 1,000+ five-star reviews earned one customer at a time. No corporate ownership. No high-pressure close. Just honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and a team that plans on being here long after the installation is finished.
